Using products like cleansers, face polishes, moisturizer, or hydrating primer is a great way to get the glow you’re after. Brands like Makeup Forever, Origins, Laura Mercier, and and Fresh make great products for this, so check out Sephora for them today!

Are you trying to get a spring time glow without using the tanning booth? Many people use self tanner and look great from doing so!

There are certain things you can do, though, to make your self-tan come out as well as possible. Follow these rules to look your best:

  • Do everything else first – like shaving and getting a manicure
  • Be sure that you’re 100% dry from your shower before applying self tanner
  • Work from the bottom up for best results
  • Wait extra time for it to dry and then after rub baby powder on yourself to avoid it transferring to your clothing

For more tips on how to self tan for success, check out the full list from Allure!

Winter Glow

Spray on tans are one of the easiest ways to keep that summer glow all year round. We know that tons of celebrities get them – from Kim Kardashian to Carrie Underwood.

These tans are great because they aren’t produced using UV rays, causing skin problems and the risk of skin cancer. Also, they provide even tan coverage, and you can also choose your tan shade based on how dark you want to be.

Since we can’t be in the sun for a real tan during these winter months, do you go for spray tans?

We’re all looking for new and exciting ways to reinvent ourselves in the New Year. But at what cost? Every woman would jump at the chance to add moisture and elasticity to her skin, soften her hair, and attain a perfect figure. But when does it cross the line from a makeover to unhealthy?

The first on our list of dangerous beauty treatments is indoor tanning.  This year we all met (and were terrfied of) the “tanning mom”.  Even though most tanners do not look like this extreme case, each time you tan you are now 29% more likely to develop basal-cell carcinomas and 69% more likely to get squamous-cell carcinomas, two deadly types of skin cancer.  Each year there is 170,000 reports of skin cancer linked to indoor tanning.

Those are scary numbers, but if you’re still not convinced to stop fake baking, would hearing that tanning is going out of style make you more comfortable in your own (unburnt) skin?  Pale is the new tan! More and more porcelain skinned celebrities are in the spotlight: Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift, and Emma Stone, to name a few.

It’s not too late to make a New Year’s resolution to give up your relationship with the tanning bed and embrace the natural you!

Remember the good ol’ days when summer consisted of laying by the pool working on your tan?  Unfortunately, not all of us have still have that luxury . Don’t fear BRONZER IS HERE! It’s time to take advantage of all the bronzers out there and fake it till you make it. There are so many good quality bronzers that every working girl needs to take advantage of this summer.

Here are some of our favs:

Benefit Cosmetics - Hoola

This bronzer gives you a nice dark base tan. There is no glitter in it so it gives you a great neutral/natural tan look.

This duo adds a bit of shimmer and glitter to your cheeks. It illuminates your natural glow while making you look extremely sunkissed.

Bare Escentuals - bareMinerals Faux Tan All-Over Face Color

Since this bronzer is in powder form it evens out your skin tone with a beautiful bronzed look.
