Right now there is a very popular bracelet by Marc by Marc Jacobs that fashionistas are wearing in America as well as in Europe! It’s a leather bracelet with meaningful texts written on them in Latin. Like Serva Me Servabote which means save me and I will save you.  Find it at the Marc by Marc Jacobs Accessories store on Bleeker Street in New York, or buy them online at iOffer.com.

This winter kelly green will be the brightest shining color of all. You will see it everywhere in stores and in even in interior design boutiques and it is beautiful to be honest. It also gives a retro vibe that go well with a Lower East Side girl kind of style. Fashion designers match kelly green with black and it looks super fashionable!

It’s rare that a strictly functional piece of clothing goes highly fashionable but the practical-chic hunting jacket has done just that. The sportswear is lightweight yet sturdy fabric and convenient multiple pockets. We are all hunter-gatherers when the utilitarian pockets are deep enough for a blackberry and an AmEx. Burberry already has their own model of it, so does Barbour and Jcrew.

A rainbow of bright hobos, clutches, satchels, and totes bring some light into winter’s dark days. A fashion editorial for November shows a vivid aqua Yves St. Laurent bag, a royal purple Bottega Veneta clutch, and hot pink Ralph Lauren Blue Label bags. These accessories look great from South Beach to NYC.

Marie Claire magazine has written an article about 15 designers who are not only top designers, but contribute and support causes. Ralph Lauren’s charity of choice is breast cancer and it is called The Pink Pony Fund and the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention. The Pink Pony Campaign represents the effort to bring adequate care to lower income communities. It is Lauren’s hope that women get screenings that help detect cancer earlier. Donatella Versace runs the Versace One Foundation which helped victims of the 2007 earthquake in China. Kenneth Cole’s charity is AmfAR which was developed to raise funds for Aid/HIV research and destigmatize the illness. Oscar de La Renta runs New Yorkers for Children which believes every child needs an education and the support of a family. Designers have become more well known for more than just the runway.
