The creative designer Chelsea Van Houten herself says, “When Eleni and I moved to New York about 2 years ago, we became really inspired to start fooling around with chains, fabrics, and studs. Fashion in NYC had such a huge impact on us. We started Stud Muffin by ripping up our own clothes and jewelry to get ideas of what exactly we wanted to do with our line. The nightlife helped us start to promote our line by simply wearing our revamped vintage clothes and jewelry out all the time. People would compliment our studded items and we noticed a sudden love for our brand. Stud Muffin is a company where young girls and guys can buy fun simple items along with one of a kind vintage clothing and jewelry pieces, and be the only ones to have them!
