Easy Breezy Lingerie

Pistachio, Please!

Pistachio is a color you wouldn’t think as a staple to your wardrobe, but right now, it totally should be!

There are so many fun products coming out in this color, from jewelry to clothing to accessories.

This color should be matched with neutral colors like gray and tan. It’s a soft color that makes a large statement!

PLL Fashion Envy

In honor of ABC Family’s mega hit show, Pretty Little Liars, returning last week, we wanted to comment on the fashion of the show’s four stars. Although PLL was originally intended for a younger crowd, we’ve seen that it has reached far beyond, attracting the attention and love of almost all age groups.

This suspenseful show is filled with more than drama and scandal, though; it is also filled with fashion! The characters display some great taste, especially characters Aria and Hanna.

A Colorful Collaboration

We are so excited for this awesome pairing, and who wouldn’t love these colorful, irresistibly cute shoes?!

As the winter months are in full swing, this is certainly yet another thing to look forward to in the spring.

The Many Looks of Suri Cruise

One of the most watched gals in all of Hollywood is…Suri Cruise! This little girl is known to be a mini fashionista, rarely repeating an outfit, sporting the cutest accessories, and rocking tons of styles.

While there are blogs devoted to following the fashion of this little diva, she is certainly watched and many times admired. Little Cruise has been known to rock clothes from places as common as Gap, Old Navy, H&M, and Crewcuts to vendors as divine as Bonpoint, Holmes & Yang, and Milly Minis. Her closet is definitely full of all kinds of gems.

Spring 2011 Fashion Trend: Paintings as Dresses!

We were blown away by Mary Katrantzou’s Spring 2011 Collection. Her dresses make it appear as if you are wearing a mural! They really are like nothing we have ever seen before! The colors are vibrant and the various styles and fits are plentiful. Many of the digital print designs on the dresses look like the interiors of exquisite homes and hotels. You really have to see it for yourself to appreciate the uniqueness of Mary Katrontzou. All the dresses are printed with images of lavish hotel and stateroom interiors—and embellished with interior-decorator braid, tassels, and fringe trimmings. She’d digitalized photos from vintage copies of Architectural Digest and The World of Interiors while enhancing the color and taking advantage of the intricacies of home furnishings. Her dresses in the Spring 2011 collection are a bit pricey ($900+) but they are certainly beautiful to look at!

Ballerinas are Back!

Due to the popularity of the award-winning film, “Black Swan,” ballerinas have been showing up everywhere! The sexy ballerina is on the runaway and on the high street in stores such as Top Shop and ASOS. Ballet pumps and hair buns are making a huge comeback! The innocent ballerina is out, and the sexy, upgraded dancer is in! Trade in your pink leotard for black lace or leather. Designers such as Chloe, Marchesa and Richard Nicholl have embraced the new ballerina style in their 2011 collections. The long flowing skirts made from the sheerest of chiffons and the tight pink leotards which hug our figures beautifully without clutching any of the wrong areas definitely make the cut. But since the release of “Black Swan” the ballerina trend has taken a new turn and now exudes a sexy, raw, and stylish energy. Ballerinas are here to stay!

Kate Middleton aka “Waity Kaity” Fashion Icon

The whole world has been ranting and raving over the royal engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Replicas of Middleton’s engagement ring have been sweeping the globe! A dress she wore in November to match her gigantic and gorgeous sapphire engagement ring has sold out in stores all over the world. “Waity Katie” has become a fashion icon for women all over the world. It seems as if anything she wears becomes the next “It Outfit.” The gown she chooses to wear at her April wedding will surely be replicated by designers and in high demand in all countries! Her refined yet classy look is how young girls aspire to dress. The big gowns and tiaras are clearly out of style! We look forward to more of Kate Middleton’s clothes and accessories in the future!

The Cute Summer Look

One of my favorite clothing brands is TART, which I discovered on Gilt (excellent website).  I now own many shirts from TART and my favorite dress that I own is from there as well.  My favorite part about the clothes is that the material is always high quality and so comfortable against my skin.  I was surfing on the web yesterday and saw this gorgeous dress from the summer 2010 collection of TART.  I think it’s stunning and perfect for the summer (vibrant colors and print, how could you say no).  Not to mention how much I love off-the-shoulder clothes.

The perfect shoes?  The best outfits have the bag and the shoes matching so how about a pair of Akira Strappy Sandals from BCBG Maxazria?
