Baby it’s Cold Outside!

Since it has been absolutely freezing out, what better topic to spotlight than cold weather accessories!

These are totally necessary right now! You might think these are a pain and unfashionable, but there are tons of ways to make these look fashionable and totally amaze-balls!

First, let’s talk about scarves. Infinity scarves are hot right now and are a great way to stay snug and warm. Also, ruffled scarves are super cute and definitely worth wearing this winter.

Next, mittens and gloves! These can sometimes be a pain but there’s nothing worse than cold hands! You will find tons of gloves that even allow you to use your beloved iPhone while wearing them, such as these Kate Spade ones that are functional, warm, and really cute!

Finally, hats. Ugh! Who likes hat hair?! Definitely not me. Instead of wearing a hat, opt for one of those winter headbands that keep your ears nice and warm. But don’t mess up your hair. What a cute accessory that works well!

Feed the Need for Tweed

While at one time this style was seen as old fashioned, now it’s making a comeback and is completely in. What style, you ask? Tweed, of course!

You can find many old photos of women dressed in tweed suits, dresses, and jackets – definite fashionistas for their time.

This winter, too, tweed is all the rage! You can wear a chic dress, a professional suit, or an adorable skirt in this material. When you wear it, not only will you be cutesy and comfortable, but you’ll be sporting one of the hottest looks!

Seeing Spots

One of the longest loved fashion pattern is polka dots. I mean, we see them everywhere – from bags to shirts to skirts to dresses. They are definitely a classic design that will never go out of style.

Wearing them in the winter may seem crazy, but it can definitely be done…just in a different fashion than it is in the spring and summer.

To pull off the look during the winter, try a polka dotted cardigan paired with a neutral color and dark jeans, topped off with winter accessories such as a hat and a scarf.

You could also try a black and white polka dotted skirt, with tights underneath and simple flats.

Finally, if you want to add a little pop of polka dot to your look, try adding it in via an accessory, such as a scarf, handbag, or even mittens.

With the holiday season in full swing as the New Year is here, you might have a few more holiday parties to attend.

If you’re running out of outfits, have no fear! There are simple ways to dress up an always classic look.

Break out your favorite little black dress and slap it on, there are tons of ways to dress it up.

First, pair chunky jewels or a statement piece with your LBD. That is a fun look that adds lots of glam to this vital outfit piece.
