Whenever we think of braids, we think of wearing them in our hair, right? Well, there’s a new craze involving braids, except these braids are to be worn as jewelry, not in our locks.

Braided jewelry is popping up all over the place and we absolutely love the look! Whether you wear it in a simple bracelet or chunky necklace, it totally rocks and is a great addition to almost any simple outfit to add a pop of fun and style.

Celebs such as Jessica Alba and Maria Menounos have been spotted sporting jewelry braids, giving it lots of attention.

We’ve even been seeing this look in wedding bands, which is a great contemporary spin on a classic piece.
