Spiritual Statement

If you’re familiar with NYC during Christmas time, you probably know that there are tons of little tents and shops all around that you can find things like ornaments, Christmas decorations, hats, socks, jewelry…practically everything under the sun.

In Bryant Park there are an array of these shops set up around the ice skating rink at Citi Pond. One of the shops is made up of jewelry, all of it centering around evil eye jewels.

If you’ve ever seen this genre of jewels before, you know that there are necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings that are literally a little evil eye. While it’s a fashionable and cute piece, it also has spiritual meaning.

The evil eye is said to be one of the strongest spiritual symbols in the world that means that whoever you give this look to, you are wishing to inflict harm upon them or for bad things to come in their life.

It is believed that wearing these amulets as jewelry offers protection against “evil eyes” in your life.

Many celebrities, such as the Kardashians, Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, and so on have been spotted sporting this trend.

Have you jumped on the Twilight bandwagon or have you been a fan since the beginning?
Whether you’re just getting into it or you’ve been an Edward Cullen lover all along, there is no denying that the jewelry featured in the latest movie unique and has a flare of its own.
